Damian qualified as a solicitor in 2000 and joined Carvill Rickard LLP as a Partner in 2025. Damian has considerable expertise in all types of litigation with a particular interest in personal injury claims and medical negligence claims. For over 30 years, Damian has dealt successfully with a significant volume of road traffic accident claims, accident at work claims and slip/trip & fall claims as well as medical negligence claims. 

Damian has dealt successfully with a significant number of medical negligence claims helping victims secure compensation for what are very often life changing injuries.     

Damian has a caring attitude to clients but a firm approach to litigation. He often takes over claims from other solicitors where a client is unhappy with their service.

Damian also has over 30 years experience dealing with employment disputes, property related disputes, claims under equality legislation and challenges to Wills.

Damian is member of The Law Society of Ireland and the Dublin Solicitors Bar Association.
